Hi. I'm Elle. 17yrs old.  (゚∀゚)ノ*

I got into J-music a few years ago. (´・ω・`)
My favourite bands are Shiina Ringo, Tokyo Jihen, SID,
Buck-Tick, L`Arc, Luna Sea, Love Psychedelico, Yoko Kanno and more :]
I'm a little bit rusty on my jrock knowledge.. ( ̄~ ̄;)

I don't do much.  I've played bass for 4yrs, still not very good. :B
Didn't go to Avcon today coz I wanted to sleep in.. boo me. D:

Yo
I just found this site about... 10 minutes ago XD it was pimped out on Jrock_Australia
Uuuhhhhh... OKAY ME! Yes, about me... D8 I'm tall XD
I like Jrock... no sorry wait, I love it
Can't remember exactly when it was I first got into it, but it was Miyavi's Freedom Fighters PV on youtube which my friend who basically spends half her life in Japan linked me to
I was hooked so bad after that
My favourites are pretty generic, but I really don't care if I like what's popular seeing as it's gotta be popular for a reason
The GazettE, Dir en Grey, Antic Cafe, 12012, MUCC, Maximum The Hormone, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Miyavi, Gackt, SuG, and also recently discovered some good female ones like exist+trace and Danger Gang
One thing I really love and admire about Jrock, Visual Kei and such is that is foccusess on the band members a whole lot, like their image and style which is always visually stunning
I could tell you so much about the members of jorck bands and artists that I love, but jack shit about any Australian or American ones
I also like to draw and am heavily influenced by manga (more so than anime anyway) and always end up drawing very visual clothes... SO ADDICTIVE AND SEXY XD
Uhhh I guess I like to dress visually aswell, though I'm really casual about it, just like the small touches and subtle makeup

I was gonna go to AVcon but a friend is having their 21st on the Saturday and everyone I was gonna go with on Sunday has to work DX damn money makers

But yeah... OH I live like... only a 20 minute trip by bus into the city, so yeah just pretty average neighbourhood (I'm hell good at spell, what you say?) in Adelaide and my school is hell awesome, I'd seriously hate to go anywhere else and we have so many different cultures there and yeah, I also have too many asian friends XD they keep intoducing me to the wonders of how much cheaper everything is in Hong Kong and China

AH SORRY THIS IS TOO LONG I'LL LEAVE NAO

I decided to finally make an introduction even though I have joined this community ages ago.

Well a little bit about me...
Hi I'm Sharon and I'm 16, turning 17 this year. I go to OLSH and I'm in my second to last year of high school. I'm Chinese with a bit of Vietnamese background in me. I speak English as well as Cantonese but I'm really bad at Mandarin and a beginner at Vietnamese since I'm doing Stage 1 Vietnamese at my school. I'm also Amy's cousin and I went to the same primary school as Anne.

I'm really into JE and my favourite group is hey say jump. My favourite HSJ member is Yuto but I also favour Ryosuke, Yabu and Hikaru. Besides HSJ I also like KAT-TUN, NEWS, Arashi, Yamashita Shoon, ABC, Kis-my-ft2, Question? and other johnny jrs. I also like other groups that are not JE like L'arc-en-ciel, Otsuka Ai and Yui.

In my spare time I like to watch dramas, anime, listen to music and read manga as well as reading in general. I'm also an encoder in the fansub group, jump_infs which focuses on hey! say! jump!. We sub performances and talks. We are also on fansub wiki since we are currently subbing the drama SP - Furuhata Chuugakusei which features Yamada Ryosuke in it.

Fortunately I don't really suffer from people asking me to burn dramas for them like Anne This is because my friends and I exchange dramas by putting them on our portable hardrives and giving them to each other that way.

I better go now, I need my dose of HSJ! So yeah, nice to meet you!

Hiya everyone *waves* - I found this community awhile ago, but have only refound it / joined tonight  =S  (and thought I should give a bit of an intro to anyone interested  hahaa)

My name's Alyssa, I'm 18 & I'm currently at TAFE (Adelaide Centre of the Arts) studying a Bachelor of Visual Arts & Applied Design (meaning I'm in the city 5 days a week hahaa.... didn't really go a lot, well as much as now anyway  =S)

I like a (somewhat small) mixture of J-Rock & visual kei - but my main reason for getting into J-Music was..... J-Pop  =|  (something that was a bit left-of-field from my usual likings of music). With the J-Pop, it's mainly (or all of really) JE groups / duos [the money stealing Johnny's Entertainment company!~] ... I first "got-into" KAT-TUN from watching Yukan Club from a recommendation in an anime blog that my sister was reading at the time (late last year)... And that was that - other groups soon followed (Kanjani8, NEWS, KinKi Kids, T & T [if anyone else knows who I'm going on about, please say so!  =P] ~) ...
So yeeeah - from the J-Pop then came some J-Rock (strange enough) [as one of the members in KAT-TUN is a fan-boy of Gackt, as well as cruising some re-occuring band names & pages off of VampireFreaks (how I came across BLOOD =P) ... For J-Rock / Visual Kei (sorry if I'm misjudging the types =|), I like the GazettE, (and some) Miyavi, Gackt, alice nine, L'Arc En Ciel, BLOOD (and more recently) Dir En Grey and Antic Cafe - I would really like to find some more bands to look up  =D

Hmm... well I'm not too sure what else to say here  (sorry~) =|  a part from that I'm game (and would be happy) to find more J-Music lovers here in lil' old Adelaide ...aaaaand... that I love squid balls (hence the name), bubble tea & Calpis soda (god I love that stuff =P) ...  [Sorry if this wasn't a very insightful introduction  =S] -- Byebye then  .=).

There will be a Visual Kei/Jrock based set at Fright Club Friday the 2nd of May @ the Crown and Anchor.
Fright Club starts at 10 pm and is upstairs at the Crown and Anchor, Grenfell street. It's on tonight as well but no Jrock until next week.

Okay. Yes i know Angelspit isnt exactly jrock. BUT if they come they'll most likely be touring with BAAL just like with all the other states they're touring and BAAL is japanese so im not breaking any of our own rules yes? LOL

So back to the topic - Angelspit is interested in coming to Adelaide.
Unfortunately though, the show will not be all ages. 18+
Well anyway~ if you want Angelspit to also come to Adelaide please comment on one of these links!

BLOOD will be touring AUS with GPKISM and Aural Window this june!
Unfortunately they're not coming to Adelaide. So my question is, is anyone from Adelaide coming to them? I know I am. To the Sydney show baby!~
Hopefully more jrock bands will tour Australia after this because it shows that there IS a jrock fanbase here. We still need more jrock fans in Adelaide though! So maybe later bands will come to our little city too! x)

So Australia please come and support BLOOD!
